i almost thought about leaving a good review, until i remembered the shower that fluctuated wildly from cold to hot. The land lady yelling at me for being 20 minutes late for check-out. i’d expect some complimentary gesture for such inconveniences, not harsh treatment. overall, this place is just not worth the trouble.

We had an awesome time here! When we weren't hiking magnificent trails, we enjoyed chilling in our cozy room. The hosts went above and beyond, providing great local tips and tasty homemade treats. It's also just a short walk to plenty of shops and eateries, making it super convenient.
Unfortunately, I experienced a bit of a delay in response to a minor issue we had with the bathroom, which was a letdown despite everything else being pleasant.

Man, it was such a jol! The hosts were super friendly and even surprised us with homemade cakes each day. The location is on point, just a stroll away from both the lake and cute little shops. Brekkie was top-notch too, with Vicky’s jam to die for!

the location is perfect, super close to windermere and bowness. our room was spacious and had great homely touches like homemade cake every day. steve and vicky were super friendly and really helped us plan our walks. parking was simple and the wifi worked great. having a range of breakfast options is a must, and we loved the ones we tried!
the shower pressure could be a bit better for a more refreshing experience. also, a little sitting area would have been nice to chill in.
